The Japanese call the art of folding paper “Origami” where “ori” means fold and “kami” means paper. Materials Each handmade 3D origami model  is made using approximately 1000-1200  individual triangles that are folded and glued together for sturdiness. The model is approximately 5.5 inches in diameter and 5 inches tall. It is a relatively sturdy decoration that will keep for many years. It should be able to withstand an occasional accidental tumble, which has been proven true by toddlers and cats alike; however I don't recommend keeping it within their reach :) It is a perfect gift for any occasion, and also great for your own indulgence. Between cutting the paper, folding each triangle, and assembling individual pieces, each model takes approximately 2weeks to construct. This origami model is one of our popular creations. Although made with paper, our creations are quite sturdy. 3D Origami Creations are handmade art. They are great for decorations and as gifts. 3D Origami is made out of multiples of folded paper triangles. The triangles are then inter-lock together with use of strong bond, except for attaching details. Each creation takes hours to make, including the preparation process of cutting and folding the papers. Our 3D Origami Creations come in a variety of colors and fun characters!
